For the love of playing great music
The idea behind this site is to simply share a love for good songs and to help others learn to play them.
Song History
I’m just an old music fan that enjoys learning about the songs and artists that shaped our culture through music. I focus on the 60’s through 80’s but have been known to stray outside those lines from time to time.
Song Charts
I have been playing guitar for 40 years, always as a hobby and without any formal training. Guess that makes me a hack, but I have progressed enough with the instrument to thoroughly enjoy myself and have played in bands for most of that time. Guess being self taught is not that much of a handicap after all. I place lyrics and chords for a song on one page if I can fit it in and save as a pdf. Each week I send out a new post with the history of the song and artist along with the chart so all of you can try playing the tune. Have a great time with it, I certainly do.
